When we will not treat
We do not freeze moles, changing or suspicious lesions, melasma or thread veins. If anything does not look clearly benign, treatment stops and we recommend the right next step.

Questions while healing
Call us on 01773 317873 if healing is not following the advice you were given.
Any time
Treatment and healing vary by lesion type, size and location.
Leave it, remove it or ask first?
Many blemishes are harmless, but not every mark should be frozen. A proper assessment is the safest place to start.
Leaving it alone
Benign blemishes can often be left alone if they are not catching, bleeding or bothering you.
Changes still need checking
A lesion that changes colour, shape, size or behaviour should be reviewed rather than treated cosmetically.
Home treatments can irritate
Picking, cutting or using unverified freezing products can damage healthy skin and delay the right diagnosis.
Not every lesion is suitable
Moles, suspicious lesions, melasma and thread veins need a different assessment or treatment route.
Ask before you decide
If you are unsure what the blemish is, book a consultation and we will give an honest recommendation.
